PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. Project Description:

Project Title: Christmas in your Class

Type of Project: Christmas Decoration Contest
Project Proponents: Supreme Student Government
Date of Implementation Duration: November 14 to December 02, 2022
Student’s Contribution Fee: None

II. Background Situation Analysis

The research from the Journal of Environmental Psychology finds people who put up
their Christmas decorations early tend to be happier and healthier. With that, the Supreme
Student Government will bring that empathy to our school by having a competition to express
ourselves and show appreciation for the spirit of the holiday season.

III. Mechanics
a. Each section is encouraged to decorate its respective classrooms. The Advisers can
assist their students in decorating. The decoration should revolve around the following
criteria:

Creativity - 40%
Uniqueness - 25%
Practicality - 20%
Overall Impact - 15%

b. Using Super glues, mighty bond, or rugby is extremely prohibited in attaching decors
to the walls and ceiling.
c. The students are only allowed to decorate their classrooms in their free time within
school days. Coming to school to decorate must depend on their adviser whether they
will allow their students or not. If they did, students must submit parental consent to
their adviser.
d. Latex paint, spray paint or any other types of paint is not allowed to be used in doors,
windows, blackboards, chairs, or any other school property.
e. In decorating, students must observe cleanliness, propriety, and safety.
f. For the awards and recognition, each grade level will be contested. The winners in the
per year grade level will receive the following:
 1st Place - Php1,000.00
Consolation - Php250.00

g. All entries must be done on December 01, 2022. The judgment will be on December
02, 2022.
