When CoVid-19 spread across the globe this year, it created numerous challenges for
everyone, and one of those affected individuals are the teachers. Amidst this pandemic, we
teachers remained spirited and showed that we are among the most creative and resourceful
educators in the country. It is something new to us, but we teachers tripled our efforts and
doubled our time in searching new ideas and developing new strategies just to deliver the best
education experiences to our learners at home.
Social media as a powerful tool is a good platform to showcase the hard work and
enthusiasm of teachers in this so called new normal. On the celebration of World Teachers’
Day, the Schools Division of Quirino created an activity to give recognition to teachers’
meaningful journey towards delivering quality education. It was all about producing a video
presentation highlighting the best practices of teachers in the different areas of the province.
Villa Gracia Integrated School as recognized as one of the far-flung schools in the province
decided to join the competition because the teachers wanted to show the real scenario they
are experiencing.
This served as an inspiration to everyone. This captured the heart of every teacher.
When it was posted online, the story behind this video clip gathered positive feedbacks from
its viewers. This brought pride to Villa Gracia Integrated School as it garnered second place.
We should always remember that it is about time that at this situation, we need to
focus on the future of teaching by reimagining our profession before others reimagine it for
us.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
(September 2021-December 2021)
I: INTRODUCTION
“Sulong Edukalidad”, the DepEd slogan manifest the value of resiliency of every
Filipino people to global crisis. This year, the country’s educational sector has been
confronted with the most challenging situation thus far in the 21 st century with the existence
of the Covid-19 virus. The continuity of education is the foremost priority of our department
and the support to this must be strengthened and tightened so that the goals and objectives of
the department be possibly met.
Villa Gracia Integrated School must modify and re-align its established practices and
policies to continue providing quality education and services to its clienteles. This made
every teacher’s role very challenging, exciting and motivating. It’s not an easy task though,
but when little actions are combined, it creates a big impact.
With the current “new normal” situation across the country, Villa Gracia Integrated
School strove to follow and implement student, teacher, and school-friendly practices along
with the mandate of the Department of Education. Teachers are encouraged to upgrade their
skills and knowledge for designing teaching and learning tasks through varied online
seminars or webinars provided by different sectors including the Department of Education.
Students are introduced with the new learning modality which is the distance learning- the
only available in the area. The school conducted meetings and managed time on task,
disseminated information to students, teachers, parents and other stakeholders and kept
everyone’s efforts and roles in sync and well-coordinated.
Despite the problems we are currently experiencing and even it’s difficult to fulfill the
tasks and goals of our programs and projects for the benefit of our students and school, we
continued to work for the development and implementation of programs and projects to
ensure our students’ well-being and health.
