TERMINAL REPORT
INDUSTRYWORK IMMERSION PROGRAM
FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
SCHOOL YEAR 2022-2023

I. Introduction

The Isabela School of Arts and Trades has been offering a Senior High School program for
eight years, making it one of the top technical vocational institutions in the area. By providing
the Senior High School Program, the K–12 compulsory basic education program was fully
implemented. ISAT offers the Technical Vocational and Livelihood Track with the four Strand
such as; Industrial Arts, Home Economics, Fishery and Agriculture, and ICT.

ISAT Senior High School Department offered the following strand and Specialization:
Industrial Arts Strand -with Automotive Servicing (NC II),Shielded Metal Arc Welding (NC II),
Electrical Installation and Maintenance (NC II), Electronic Program Assembly and Servicing
(NC II) Carpentry; Home Economics Stand – with Nail/Beauty Care/Massage and Hairdressing,
Housekeeping/Front Office – Services/Bartending, Cookery/Bread and Pastry/Food and
Beverages and Dressmaking / Tailoring ; Food Processing under Agri -Fishery Strand ;while
Technical Drafting is an specialization covered by the ICT Strand.

TVL Track prepares students for the four K–12 exits: employment, business, middle skill
development, and higher education. The skills and knowledge they have gained will ensure that
they are capable of pursuing any curriculum exit they choose or even earning money while
pursuing their college education.

As stated in the DepED Order No. 30, s., one of their graduation requirements is to engage in
immersion, a crucial component of the SHS curriculum, to various industry partners relevant to
their specialization where they can enhance their competencies and skills, work ethics, and
enrich their values and achieve total personality development that are relevant in pursuing their
higher education or entering the workforce. 2017 or, alternately, the Work Immersion Guidelines.

Based on DepEd Order No.40, s.2015-Guidelines on K to 12 Partnerships, the target partners


such as local government, companies, cooperatives, industries, other schools, NGOs, and leagues
may approach for possible partnerships.

Potential partners may include local government, businesses, cooperatives, industries, other
schools, NGOs, and leagues, in accordance with DepEd Order No.40, s.2015-Guidelines on K-12
Partnerships.

The primary goal of partnership development is to strengthen DepEd's and public schools'
ability to implement the K-12 Program.

The goal is to create students who are equipped with the necessary skills, values, and
knowledge to pursue further education and training as well as to enter the workforce through
employment and entrepreneurship.

The DepEd hopes that by creating partnerships, the partners will be able to offer DepEd
schools opportunities for work immersion, practical experience, extra resources, and "work" or
"livelihood" opportunities for senior high school graduates.

A. Objectives of the Program:

This program will provide learners with opportunities:


1. to become familiar with the workplace;
2. for employment simulation;
3. to apply their competencies in areas of specialization /applied subjects in
authentic work environments;
4. to appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories
learned in school;
5. to enhance their technical knowledge and skills;
6. to enrich their skills in communications and human relations; and
7. to develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work.

B. Description of the Activity:


Planning, Partnership, Convergence, Lectures, Orientation Assessment and
Evaluation, and Post- Conference.

C. Course Requirement:
a. SHS Grade 12 Learners in the TVL track must undergo this Program.
b. Students must meet the 80 hours’ basic requirement of immersion.
c. Students Participants are required to submit Narrative Reports after the
immersion proper.

d. Immersion teachers must accomplished all required reports at the end of


immersion program.

II. ACTUAL IMPLEMENTATION


A. Participants: Immersion Teachers Concerned
B. School Heads: School Head/s monitor the actual implementation of the
required activities.
C. Highlights of Accomplishments:
1. Conference of the focal persons for work immersion.
2. Identifying partner industries.
3. Communicating with partner industries.
4. Conference with the immersion teachers.
5. Conference with the parents.
6. Orientation for immersion students.
7. Checking of pertinent documents of immersion students such as Annex C,
Application Letter, Parent Consent, Resume, and Brgy. Clearance.
8. Immersion Deployment of students by batch from February 20, 2023 to March
31, 2023 with a minimum of 80 hours’ services in a specific industry partner.

8.1. Submission of Deployment data and other pertinent documents to


partner industries.
8.2. Deployment proper.
8.3. Accomplishments of Supervisory Plan of each immersion teachers.
8.4. Regular Supervision of Immersion teachers to Immersion venues.
8.5. Regular reporting of issues and concerns.
8.6. Immediate response to cater issues and concerns.
8.7. Regular Monitoring of School Heads and Focal Persons.

III. EVALUATION
1. Evaluation and Assessment
1.1. Checking of Narrative Reports
Learners submitted their individual Narrative Reports.
1.2. Consolidation of Evaluation Ratings and Recommendations
According to the overall evaluation result, all Grade 12 immersion learners are
competent in their chosen specialization. Some were hired as part-time or on-call workers
in certain industries.
