A NARRATIVE REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA 2021

Grade V-Silver
In line with DepEd Memorandum No.12, s. 2006 otherwise known as National
Schools Maintenance Week, commonly referred as Brigada Eskwela, which aims to
prepare the school before its formal opening of classes would put strength on how
dedicated Bauan Elementary School as an educational institution and how cooperative
its stakeholders are in answering the call of time in line with the objective of the
activity.
Educators believe that environment plays a very important role in students’
learning. And so, if classrooms are not conducive to learning because of poor
condition and some defective school facilities, education is hindered. It is in this
connection, that the adviser was encouraged to initiate strategies and techniques to
materialize the different objectives of the “Brigada Eskwela” particularly on the
projects to be implemented.
The following were the implemented projects of Grade V-Silver during the
Brigada Eskuwela, 2021 which was approved by the parents during the Parents’
Orientation last September 13, 2021.
1. Repainting of Chairs and Cabinets
Repainted chairs and cabinets can capture attention, increase alertness or
create calmness. By designing classrooms, the learning environment is well suited to
enhance learning abilities and memory retention. The Grade V-Silver parents
repainted the classroom chairs and tables of their children to look more clean and
attractive. The realization of the said project was made possible because of the support
coming from the stakeholders.
2. Putting Up of Bulletin Boards
The school is a source of updated information in the community particularly
the school achievements, learners’ progress and future plans and programs. The
teacher come up with the putting of bulletin board to keep track information and be
updated especially the learners. The said project was evidently accomplished because
of the commitment and support of the parents particularly the PTA officers through
their donation.
The proposed projects turned into reality through the generosity and active
support of the education partners which includes the parents of the Grade V-Silver
and other stakeholders.
