Proposed Venue: Bilet Elementary School

The school of Bilet Elementary School face numerous challenges, including inadequate
funding, and lack of income-generating projects in recent years. In this regard, the initiation
of Project CLEAN and GREEN (Cleaning the Learning Environment is Advantageous in Nurturing
learners & Green Resources in Environment Enhance Nutrition) was started wherein learners and
parents are involved to plant more banana and maintain the banana plantation of the school.
In addition to lessening the financial load on the school, this teaches kids about money
management and business. A banana plantation project in school can also serve as a practical
learning experience for students. They can learn about agricultural practices, such as land
preparation, planting, harvesting, and marketing. This hands-on experience can help students
develop practical skills and knowledge that can be applied in their future endeavors.
Additionally, the school and the parents have a Memorandum of Agreement whereby one
parent will help in maintaining school's banana plantation. If the banana plantation is
maintained, it can provide a means of funding of the school. It lessens the school's
dependency on donations and government support by diversifying its sources of income. The
money made can be utilized to upgrade the facilities for the kids, buy educational supplies,
and for the improvement of our school.
By addressing the challenge faced by the school, Project CLEAN and GREEN seeks to
solve the school's problem and bring in money for the institution. In order to guarantee
success, banana plantations in schools must be carefully planned and managed.

Objectives:

1. To support Clean and Green Program of the School

2. To teach learners about entrepreneurship and money management
3. To plant and maintain the School Banana Plantation for school's income sources.
