Brief summary of activities

Overall Weekly Experience Gained

I have been given guidance on the basic of PLC. I have done some wiring connection to Delta
PLC and make sure that the output is correct. I have successfully connected PC to PLC using
ethernet cable and use node-red to communicate with PLC through Modbus TCP. I understand
the flow that implemented by my supervisor. I explore on Proxmox Virtual Environment and
found that there has network connection issue.

Details of activities

Date: 08 August 2023

Day 1: Tuesday

Tasks/Activities:

 I do wire connection that connects two normally on buttons with Delta PLC.
 I test and make sure that the output for that PLC must be same as the table below.

Tasks/Activities:

 I learn how to connect PC to PLC using ethernet or IP connection. (Training)

 I use Node-Red to communicate with the PLC through Modbus TCP.

Tasks/Activities:

 I try to understand the flow in node-red that was implemented by my supervisor.

 I deploy the flow that was implemented by my supervisor and generate the data to
MySQL.

 I have successfully installed Proxmox Virtual Environment on another PC.

 I have successfully created an Ubuntu Virtual Machine (VM) in Proxmox VE.

Day 5: Monday

Tasks/Activities:

 I have successfully created a Node-Red Container Template (CT) in Proxmox VE.

 I opened Ubuntu VM in Proxmox VE and found that cannot connect to any network.
The problem can be solved by inserting a TP-Link adapter into the PC.
 I met a problem that Proxmox VE cannot recognize TP-Link and try to find a solution
to solve.

 Install Proxmox Virtual Environment
 Create virtual machine and container template in Proxmox Virtual Environment

Problems/difficulties faced and the solutions derived (if any)

 Ubuntu VM in Proxmox VE cannot connect to any network. By inserting a TP-Link adapter into the
PC can solve that problem.
 Proxmox VE cannot recognize TP-Link.
