II.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE MOVIE/STORY (THIS PART IS NOT

INCLUDED IN GRADING BUT NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT.)

Bruno, an 8-year-old German child, was there. Because his father obtained a new position as a
high-ranking Nazi or commandant, his family relocated to Berlin, close to the concentration
camp. Bruno, on the other hand, appears to be aware of his father's work and the conflict going
on around him. Bruno was dissatisfied and lonely at their new home because he had no pals with
whom to play. Bruno observes the Auschwitz prisoners and structures through the glass window
and wants to know what they're doing and who they are. Bruno went to the concentration camp
to observe what was going on because he was curious. He noticed a wire fence encircling the
camp, as well as prisoners dressed in striped pajamas. He encounters a Jewish boy as he walks
along the fence.Bruno went to the concentration camp to observe what was going on because he
was curious. He noticed a wire fence encircling the camp, as well as prisoners dressed in striped
pajamas. He meets a Jewish youngster called Shmuel as he goes along the fence, and they
discover they share the same birthday and age. The Jewish boy and the German boy became fast
friends. Bruno has a habit of sneaking out from their house to see Shmuel. Even though there was
a wire fence between them, they were able to play chess and ball. Every time he visits, he brings
food for Shmuel. Until one day, when he breaks into the concentration camp to assist Shmuel in
finding his father

III.Questions
1. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS MOVIE? IN WHICH
PART OF THE MOVIE DO YOU THINK IS ALIKE/SIMILAR
TO ARISTOTLE’S VIRTUE ETHICS?

I chose this film because of its main topic, which demonstrates the
virtue of friendship. Despite their commonalities as Jews and
Germans, the two lads were able to form a bond. Bruno and Shmuel
were always supportive of one another. Because of their friendship,
Bruno wanted to assist Shmuel in finding his father. Bruno and
Shmuel found basic happiness with each other by playing games
and making friends like any other child. This virtue is comparable to
Aristotle's friendliness virtue. Friendship, according to Aristotle, is
an essential component of a happy existence. This virtue straddles
the line between not being nice at all and being overly friendly to a
large number of people

2. WHICH TYPE/S OF SCREENPLAY ENDING DID THE MOVIE PRESENT

(BOOK END, NARRATOR, TWIST, EXPECTED, MORAL, DUBIOUS MORAL,
EMOTIONAL, ANTICIPATION, GAG, SYMBOLIC, CONFUSED, QUOTE OR
DELETED SCENE? AS A VIEWER, IF GIVEN A CHANCE TO CHANGE THE MOVIE
ENDING, WHAT COULD IT POSSIBLY BE?

The film came to a surprising and emotional conclusion. Bruno cuts a hole
beneath the wire fence, sneaks inside the camp, and dons a Jewish uniform to
search for Shmuel's father in the story's conclusion, which depicts the terror
and cruelty of the Holocaust during World War II. Both brothers are caught up
in a group of inmates being led to the gas chamber, where they are all burned
alive. If I could make a different ending for this movie, the two boys would be
able to locate Shmuel's entire family, not just his father. Bruno then returned to
his parents' house to speak with his father.Bruno pleaded with his father to
halt the operation in Auschwitz concentration camp, where hundreds of
thousands of innocent Jewish families and children were tortured and
slaughtered. Bruno told his father that he is dissatisfied with and proud of his
father's job. He'd rather suffer a meaningful death among the other Jews in the
camp than live with a nasty father. Bruno's father came to the realization that
his son is correct. He put an end to the operation in the concentration camp
and freed the prisoners.
