REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENGINEER MANAGER’S JOB

1. A bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable school; In some cases, a


master’s degree in engineering or business management is required.

A bachelor's degree, sometimes known as a college degree, is an undergraduate


degree that you can get by studying a program of your choice at an academic
institution.
A Master’s degree, is a degree awarded by a college or institution to a student typically
following one or two years of further study after receiving a bachelor's degree.

The design and building of infrastructure, such as railways, bridges, and tunnels, falls
within the scope of civil engineering.

Computer engineers create devices including workstations, supercomputers, and


personal computers. They involve the development of hardware and software.
Chemical engineering creates and produces chemicals using the concepts of
chemistry, mathematics, biology, and physics.
The focus of industrial engineering is on the systems and activities that support
production and service in sectors including manufacturing, transportation, and
distribution.

2. A few years experience in a pure engineering job.


Working on your chosen field of expertise. Typically, engineers don't go into
management positions without a lot of prior work experience.
