The use of operation vehicle is an important means to realize the modernization and mechanization of
OCS maintenance, but the operation of OCS operation vehicle, vehicle inspection and lifting
operation are the post operation contents of operation vehicle crew (i.e. driver). The purpose of
learning this part is not to realize the OCS workers to repair and operate the operation vehicle, but
based on the following two aspects:
1. During the normal operation of the operation vehicle, rely on the monitoring of catenary workers to
find the unsafe behavior of the crew of the operation vehicle, help standardize the standardized
behavior of the crew of the operation vehicle, and finally realize the smooth progress of catenary
maintenance and safe production.
2. Under abnormal conditions, when the crew of the operation vehicle is understaffed, assist the crew
in vehicle lifting and recovery under the guidance of the crew of the operation vehicle, so as to reduce
the impact of abnormal conditions on railway transportation.

The driver of high-speed railway catenary operation vehicle shall be
familiar with the structure of the vehicle type used, the name of each
component, the correct installation position and state, and master the
application characteristics, fault prone components and key parts of the
vehicle type; During vehicle operation, the performance test of brake,
driving safety equipment and operation device shall be carried out as
required.

Pre departure inspection

(1) Before vehicle inspection, it must be confirmed that the vehicle has been braked, and safety
protection and anti slip work must be done well.
(2) It is forbidden to jump over the trench during the inspection.
(3) During various performance tests, it is necessary to fully contact and cooperate with
relevant personnel to ensure personal safety.
(4) During the electrical performance test, the test procedure shall be strictly followed, and care
shall be taken when using the test lamp to find out the fault, so as to prevent the occurrence of
spark burn and man-made short circuit fault.
(5) The performance test of the operation platform must be conducted in the non electric area or
non catenary area to prevent electric shock.
(6) The lifting performance test of the truck mounted crane must be conducted in the non power
area or non catenary area, and shall not invade the adjacent line to prevent accidents.
(7) After the inspection of each component, it must return to the normal state and original
position.
