RENEWABLE RESOURCE ENERGY

Renewable energy is becoming more popular, and these alternative energies may
hold the key to combating climate change. Renewable energy is derived from non-
depletable natural resources. There are four common renewable energy sources. (1)
solar energy, (2) wind energy, (3) water energy, and (4) biomass energy. Renewable
energy is the world's fastest growing energy source.

Advantages:
1. Can combat climate change - it creates no direct of greenhouse gases, only
indirect emissions.
2. Can decrease solution - water, wind, and solar energy creates no air pollution.
3. Reliable source

Disadvantages:
1. Can’t generate power in large scale as fossil fuels.
2. Wind farms and dam can disrupt wildlife and migration.
3. Solar and wind are intermittent.

Though, there are pros and cons in renewable energy. It offers environmental
friendly alternative to the greenhouse gas emissions and pollution of fossil fuels.
