A. SIMPLE SENTENCE
SV = The cake was baked by Widi.
SSV = The book was written by Erlangga.
SVV = The car was repaired by the mechanic.
SSVV = The movie was directed by Steven.

B. COMPOUND SENTENCE USING COORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS:


And = She danced gracefully, and she sang beautifully.
But = He studied hard, but he still failed the exam.
Or = You can choose the red shirt, or you can pick the blue one.
So = It was raining heavily, so we decided to stay indoors.
Yet = She was tired, yet she continued working.
For = He woke up early, for he had an important meeting.
Nor = She neither laughed nor smiled at the joke.

C. COMPLEX SENTENCE WITH SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS:


When = We will go to the park when it stops raining.
Whereas = John loves spicy food, whereas Sarah prefers mild flavors.
As though = She acted as though she had never met him before.
If = If you study hard, you will pass the test.

D. COMPLEX SENTENCE WITH ADJECTIVE CLAUSE:


Whom = The woman whom he married is a talented artist.
Whose = The house whose roof was damaged needs repairs.
Which = The car which he bought is red.

E. COMPLEX SENTENCE WITH NOUN CLAUSE:


Whatever = She will do whatever it takes to achieve her goals.
Where = He wondered where they had gone.
That = I believe that he will succeed in his endeavors.

F. COMPOUND-COMPLEX SENTENCES:
- She finished her work, but she still had time to go for a run before dinner.
- The dog barked loudly when the mailman arrived, and the neighbors
complained about the noise.
