Best of 3 Games Format-Two Teams

This format can be utilized for the determination of state championships at all levels. It
is recommended that no team shall be required to play a second game in one day
against a team playing its first game on that day. There shall be a minimum of four (4)
hours between games from the conclusion of the first game until the start of the second
played on the same day and twelve (12) hours on games played on consecutive
days. Each game must be played until a winner is determined. A sudden victory 10
minute Overtime will be played.

Based on the standings at the end of the season, #1 vs. #2 in the Championship
Series.

Best of 3 Games Format-Four Teams

Same as above, however 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3 in first round or weekend. The 2nd
weekend, the winners from the 1st round will play in the championship series.

For all games:

Periods will be the same as regular season play.. Each team will receive one time out
in the regulation periods and one within the overtime (s), not per OT.

If tied:

1. There will be a 2 minute break; teams will remain at the same ends as the 3rd period,
teams will play a 10 minute sudden death period.
2. If teams are still tied after OT, we will continue with a 10 minute sudden death OT.
• Ice makes will be done after the 1st OT and then every 3 OT
• Teams will change ends after the 1st OT period and each OT thereafter
