Tourism is a social, cultural and
economic phenomenon which entails the
movement of people to countries or
places outside their usual environment
for personal or business/professional
purposes. (UNWTO 2005-2007)
Definition of
Hospitality
IIt is derived from the Latin word
"hospitaire" meaning "to receive a guest -
which implies that a host is prepared to
meet a guest's requirements while being
away from home.

The requirements are food, beverage,


lodging or shelter.
Tourist
A tourist is a person
who visits a country
other than that in
which he or she
usually resides for a
period of at least 24
hours - or even less
than a day.
