III. PROCEDURE
A. Preliminary Activities
Greetings/prayer/checking of attendance/review
B. Awareness
Ask the following prompting questions:
- Do you speak with strangers?
- How do you feel talking to them?
Ask the students to find a partner and introduce their selves. After that, the pair will take turns in introducing their
partners in front of the class.
C. Activity
Ask the students to write what comes to their mind when they hear or see the word communication. Fill their
answers on the information map. Have them define communication on their own words.
E. Abstraction
Recap of today’s lesson.
Ask: What are the values or the significance of learning to communicate effectively?
F. Application
Divide the class into two groups. Make them illustrate through a role play how effective communication may be
achieved.
IV. Evaluation
In a 1/2 sheet of paper, answer the following.
1. What is effective communication?
2. Why should we communicate?
3. How do we foster effective communication?
V. Assignment
Make an information map on the synonym of tenet.
