2 Check and ensure that the installed material is in good condition and free from
any physical damage / defect
Check for correct orientation, alignment & levelling of tray / ladder / trunking as
4 per approved drawing
5 Check proper opening is made in the wall for tray / ladder / trunking to bring it
to the next room / area as per approved drawing
Check for the provision of suitable supports for tray / ladder / trunking as per
7 approved drawing.
8 Check the support sizes and ensure that the supports are sufficient for the
specified tray / ladder / trunking sizes
9 Check and ensure provision of appropriate earthing to the metallic supports for
the installed tray / ladder / trunking throughout its length
10 Check provision of suitable PVC end cap for the unistrut channel supports
11 Check and verify bend, tee and risers are installed properly
Ensure that the cable trays / ladders / trunkings are connected with necessary

coupler / fish plates, as applicable
13 Check and ensure that the cutting edge of tray / ladder / trunking is smooth, i.e.,
free from the sharpness
15 Check for proper fitment of suitable tray / ladder / trunking cover as applicable
17 Check that the spacing between electrical and instrument trays are 300mm
