LOCATION Cable from Joint -bay to RTU 967 & 966 DISCIPLINE ELECTRICAL
1.4 Check cable trench depth and width as per AFC drawing.
1.5 Check cable trench bottom is flat and sand bedding is correct
1.6 Check & ensure cable trench is clean and free from stones, debris & other
unwanted materials.
Check Excavated material shall be deposited a minimum of 1 meter away from

allowable tension in line with cable manufacturer recommendation.
3.15 Check the cable ends shall be protected against ingress of moisture / dust.
3.16 Check cable transits (MCT) shall be reinstated after the final cable laying.
3.17 Check the cable passing through the MCT cable shall perpendicular to the frame
for a minimum distance of 100mm either side of the frame.
3.18 Check and confirm cable tag numbers are correct and provided every 5 meter
intervals
3.19 Check and confirm all cables are laid as per cable schedule / layout
3.20 Check segregation from power cable, control cable, IS & non IS cables shall be
provided properly.
