PLAN OF ACTIVITIES

OBJECTIVES
General:
Within 8 hours the student nurse will be able to build rapport with the patient, evaluates patient,
monitor vital signs, manage time to ensure that they meet all the requirements for completion of
hours, be able to administer prescribed medication.

Specific: Within the 8 hours shift,


the SN will be able to;
S:
• Effectively participate in the care of the patient.
• Perform duties/activities in the ward.
K:
• Be aware of all the nursing responsibilities.
• Learn about the case taken and what is the procedure all about and its significance with the patient’s
condition.
A:
• Work cooperatively and respectively with other SNs and as well as the personnel in the nurse station.
• Display endurance and patience with the long duration of the exposure.
