 ACTIVITY: TASK 1

Direction: Below are some pictures that depict different thoughts and ideas. Write
your own understanding and interpretation in each picture given. Write your answer
in three sentences with a minimum of 30 words.

Picture 1: In this illustrate shows about rights of workers such as freedom to


work together. It has the equal opportunity and protection. The employment
rights are health and safety at work.

Picture 2: In this illustration shows about the youths that involved in the
nation-building process. Therefore, the youths play an important role. They are
the methods focus on helping and financial players.

Picture 3: In this illustration shows about young people that are good source
of productive work. It’s lawful obligation for the public to encourage and
protect their well-being. It works to help their general well-being.

Picture 4: In this illustration shows about the employees that have the right to
equal pay for work. It is the fair to the promotion and training opportunities. It
required protecting workers for equal opportunity in the workplace.
 ANALYSIS: TASK 2

Direction: Based from the previous activity, answer the following questions
comprehensively with three sentences with a minimum of 30 words.

1. Based from the given activity and your own understanding, what do you think
is the role of the youth in nation building? Explain your answer.
- Nation building is importantly helped by the youth that has the ability
to support a nation's growth. It is also in charge of bringing about
social development in a nation. A nation's future is determined by its
youth.

2. From the given activity specifically from the pictures no. 3 and 4, what do you
think is the right of the worker being demonstrated in the picture? Why do you
say so? Elaborate your answer.
- This is what the employees' right to fair working conditions. An
employee has the right to safety from unfair work practices. The
employers provide safe and healthy working conditions, equal
opportunity for promotion and fair working hour limitations.

 APPLICATION: TASK 3

Direction: Based from the given lecture notes, answer the following questions with a
minimum of three sentences and 50 words based on your own understanding. You
may do further reading and research for a comprehensive and scholarly answer.
Make sure to write your answer.
1. Answer: Well I believed that my father needs to follow the state policies
of the Philippines. This resolution approving Ordinance No. 21 S-98,
which prohibits and punishes people for urinating in public areas. This
action not just too actually harms the surrounding environment but also
creates a poor example for others, especially young children.

2. Answer: I think I will hire Ms. Odette from the said position. Although
she was the daughter of the CEO but it was unfair to those 2 employees
who apply which are both graduate and have long year’s experiences.
Moreover, there’s need the right to security of tenure which the states to
protects the workers and the employers have to be protected too.

 REFLECTION: TASK 4

Direction: Below is a reflection figure in which you are going to determine what
you have learned (knowledge that serves as your foundation to stand and
keep); the things you have realized and appreciated (attitude towards
learning); and the things that you have discovered (skills that you will cherish
in life). Fill in each missing part of the reflection figure.

- It was all about the role of the youth in nation building and the rights
of the workers.

- I appreciate that the government has a responsibility to pay more


attention to the protection of employees' rights.

Things I have discovered in learning the topic.

- It concerns with the many worker rights, including youth's roles in


nation-building, as well as the youth's roles in nation-building.
