Direction: Write or formulate problems given by different situations.
1. Juan planted his vegetable garden two weeks ago. His plants are not growing well. He notices that after each rain, the roots of
the plants are uncovered and some of the soil is gone. What is possible problem with Juan’s garden?

2. While walking in a park, Ellen observed that trees under direct sunlight grow taller and healthier than trees in shady areas.

3. You grow potted carnations in your garden that is shaded by an acacia tree. You are bothered why they produce only few
flowers though you apply the best kind of fertilizer. Since they are shaded, you wonder if they are receiving the right amount of
sunlight.

4. Ella prepares cold and hot drinks for her mother. While preparing she notices that the powder dissolved faster in one cup than
the other cup.
