increase lexical range)
2. Monolingual dictionary: to double-check the meaning of the words (to avoid
accuracy problems). Especially important after using the thesaurus!

Correct/improve the following sentences:

1. In conclusion, as new technologies make their progress breakthrough/move forward
into the new modern /contemporary world, new kinds different ways of writing
poetry are arising.
2. It is evident that they are intelligent smart, as they have been particularly created to
suit that purpose: to solve things issues that maybe human beings cannot, and
perhaps become more astute intelligent than humans.
3. Recently, AIs have been developed that can write a text for you in seconds, create a
painting from just a few words or even write poems. But focusing on the last point
Regarding the latter, is AI-generated poetry really real authentic poetry?
4. And, most importantly, IAs AIs lack one of the most important essential things
features in the process of creating poetry – the capacity to feel.
5. The arrival of new technologies and their consequent and constant evolution, from
small computers to Artificial Intelligence (AI), has motivated led to /given rise to new

6. To sum up, I believe that AI cannot generate what is considered real poetry. It is able
to achieve the task that people have asked of creating a poem. However, it does not
achieve accomplish the more complex characteristics of poems, such as the emotions
or the meanings behind the words
7. However, AI cannot create generate/produce/come up with anything new that has
not been created already nor does it have an opinion of its own. Therefore, I argue
that AI cannot think or feel for itself, which is the main characteristic needed to create
art.

9. To sum up, AI-generated poetry should not be relied considered /perceived
/understood /treated as real poetry
10. This is what current society wants: the quick functioning of everything all the time,

are starting to get used to this rapidity and to be content with the first thing option
they see.
11. It is true that the Internet is useful in terms of making things matters faster, but there
is no such thing as human thinking in situations that imply expressing something as
natural as sentiments.

13. While every part of our society is going to be mechanized, it does not make sense to

14. To conclude, even though artificial intelligence can, in fact, compose a piece of poetry,
it could never be equal to an authentic and legit poem written by a human being.
15. First, his works are full of universal themes that still are relatable appeal to modern
audiences, such as love, hate, jealousy, or ambition. Moreover, the characters are
relatable, and they reflect struggles that people nowadays can suffer too. Even though
he wrote them in the 16th century, there are strong female characters in the plays
that on whom the female audience can feel reflected.
16. Another thing aspect /feature that makes Shakespeare still relevant is that his plays
are incredibly well written.
17. However, the younger ones may not feel like Shakespeare’s plays are out of this world
extraordinary , and may be steered away put off by the compulsory readings that
everyone has had to read study at some point in their academic life.
18. It is a timeless classic and the movie adaptation has done a great
extraordinary/wonderful job and is a great way to experience the classic tale and to
bring it to a wider audience.
