 A. Test Specification
1. Statement of TEST purpose
This test aims to find out the extent of students' ability to understand the
Announcement text, and the purpose of this test is to measure students' ability to make
Announcement texts.
2. Description of Test Takers
This class is held for grade X.

3. Test Method and Time

The test is carried out in writing, using question sheets and student worksheets.
The set time allocation is 90 minutes.

We would like to inform you, that we would be having the school holiday from
Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th August 2015.
During the holiday, our school has already made plans! We want to go camping in the
Highlands to a place called Aviemore. It’s an outdoor centre where you can learn to
climb, canoe and fish and do all sorts of exciting things.
Of course, we have to take you to Edinburgh Castle and the Festival too. Don’t worry;

Tsunami is a japanese word from a seismic sea wave generated by an undersea

earthquake, landslide, or eruption. Most tsunami happen along the ring of fire. It is a zone of
volcanoes and seismic activity. The zone encircles the pacific ocean. Historically, tsunami
has caused much destruction and death. Sibce 1819, about 40 tsunami have struct the
hawaiian islands and since 1883, about 20 tsunamis have struck indonesia. The last one was
on december 26, 2004, which caused over 100,000 deaths. A tsunami can have a width of 100
to 200 km and may spread far across the deep ocean. The speed is as fast as a jet plane. When
the wave reaches land it can be very high, about 15 m or more.

E. Reflection

It's a bit difficult to compile this final project because of the lack of knowledge, but sources
from the internet that almost have all the information in it can help in the preparation of this task and
also because the grade to be tested is determined so it doesn't make it difficult when looking for the
type of problem and task.
