Good day Sir,

This letter is intent for the community service that we would like to conduct in your
barangay as part of our National Service Training Program (NSTP). We are first year students
from AM 24 of PHINMA-University of Pangasinan, Dagupan Campus. We want to ask for the
permission and cooperation of the barangay council for us to be able to successfully conduct our
project proposal in your barangay. Last month, we conducted a survey about the major problems

that people within your barangay encounters. As for the result, we found out that the most dominant
problem of the people is lack of livelihood. They do not have something that they can earn from.
If you allow us, we will turn our project proposal entitled "LOVElihood” into reality. We will help
the residents of our community with our very best. We planned that the "LOVElihood" program


will give free seminars and training program lead by the staffs and assessors of the Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

The free seminars are all about how to start some small businesses through livelihood training

could surely provide some extra income for the people. We would like to ask for the list of 50
families that will have 1 representative each who will join the said seminars and learn different
livelihood programs. We may ask also for the venue where we can conduct the seminars and

Request for Technical Assistance

Dear Ma’am,

We, the first year students from PHINMA-University of Pangasinan, Dagupan Campus
would like to request assistance and support from the TESDA Provincial Training Center –
Pangasinan to turn our vision into reality. As part of the fulfillment of our Civic Welfare Training
Service in National Service Training Program (NSTP), we are tasked to conduct a community
assessment and provide a comprehensive community action plan that would address the major
problem of our chosen community. The semi-urbanized barangay of Tambac in the City of
Dagupan was our chosen community and based on the result of the survey, lack of means of living
or livelihood is the dominant problem that most of the residents encountered.

To address this existing problem of the community, we created a proposal project entitled
“LOVElihood” which intends to help the people of the community to gain knowledge, enhance
their skills, and start their own small community business through seminars and training programs.
In order to make it possible, we are requesting for your support specifically well-trained TVET
trainers that are voluntarily and willing to share their skills and knowledge in different livelihood
training courses. We believe that through your cooperation and support, we could turn things into
reality with great love.

Your contribution would make a big difference in the success of our efforts. In return for your
generosity, we will always be grateful for your support for the fulfillment of this vision.
