HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER

The Bible is clear about how we should treat our parents.

The fifth commandment says “Honor your father and mother.”
They are the people who brought you into this world and gave
your life so always respect and honor them. This principle is
passed down from generation to generation. Appreciate the fact
that they have raised you and gave everything they had to help
you succeed and become who you are today.
Here are some ways of showing your obedience and respect
to them. A simple “I love you” is enough for your parents to make
them smile. Let your parents know that you appreciate what they
did for you. Help them in doing household chores. Help them take
care of the siblings. Communicate with your parents and be open
to them. Do not talk back to your parents because you would only
hurt their feelings. Always be honest with your parents thus in this
way it will build trust between you.
Remember that others are observing the way you honor your
parents. Your siblings and friends will learn from your example.
We will not be forever young. Someday, when you become a
parent, your children will learn how to treat you by watching how
you treat their grandparents. Therefore, honoring our father and
our mother teaches us how to honor our Heavenly Father better.

REFLECTION

As years passed by our environment changes due to human

action like from caves to nipa houses to concrete houses to huge,
tall buildings. All these things happened to our environment
because of the people who lives in it and how he interacts in his
environment which I believe is called culture. Because of the
interactions of different cultures, some of the lifestyles of humans
change also. Humans are becoming more curious thus can easily
adapts to his environment. That curiosity also leads to the drastic
change in our environment. We experienced different disasters
like floods, landslide, climate change, earthquakes, volcanic
eruptions, typhoons and many more. These made a big impact in
our history. From being simple to a very complex world. The
connections of these three words environment, culture, and
history would bring huge influence to our lives. I just hope that
human would not put our Mother Earth to an end.

HOW TO AVOID ONLINE THREATS

As technology is raising in this age and time with its

advances, it had actually become part of our lives. People rely on
the advantages that technology had provided to ease their
convenience. Though the internet has many advantages, it can
also make users vulnerable to fraud, identity theft, and other
scams. Therefore, we must learn to prevent such threats from
happening.
First, keep your computers and mobile devices up to date.
Turn on automatic updates so you receive the newest fixes as
they become available. Second, set strong passwords. Third,
watch out for phishing scams. Do not click on links or open any
attachments or pop-up screens from sources you are not familiar
with. Fourth, keep personal information personal. Be wary of
requests to connect with people you do not know. Fifth, secure
your internet connection. Always protect your home wireless
network with a password. Sixth, shop safely. Before shopping
online, make sure the website uses secure technology. Lastly,
read the site’s privacy policies. Though long and complex, privacy
policies tell you how the site protects the personal information it
collects.
Thus, for you to enjoy the access of technology, remember
these tips for hackers are everywhere. Enjoy what technology
offers you but be cautious too. Think before you click.

REPLEKSYON TUNGKOL SA WORLD WAR II

Sa mga naganap na hindi kanais-nais at hindi makatao

noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig, marami tayong pwedeng
pagnilayang mabuti. Ang mundo ay paliit ng paliit dahil sa
teknolohiya. Ang mga bansa ay palapit ng palapit sa isa't isa dahil
sa kalakalan at mga oportunidad. Sana hindi na muling maulit ang
isa pang gyera. Nawa'y mas maging mahabagin at matulungin
ang mga mamamayan ng mundo. Iba't ibang klase ang relihiyon,
sistemang politikal, at paniniwala ng mga bansa. Sana tayo ay
mas maging maunawain at isaalang-alang ang istilo ng buhay ng
ibang tao. Maraming mga sundalo sa kabi-kabilang kampo ang
nagbuwis ng kanilang buhay para depensahan ang kanilang
bansa. Maituturing silang mga bayani. Sana panghinayangan ng
mga tao ang kanilang sakripisyo at siguraduhing hindi na muling
magkakaroon ng digmaan sa pagitan ng mga bansa. Mas maging
mapagmatyag sana ang mga tao sa gawaing lumalabag sa
karapatang-pantao nang sa gayon ay hinid pagsimulan ng mga
away. Hindi talaga maganda ang kahihintungan ng giyera.
Maraming tao ang maghihirap at mawalan ng hanapbuhay. Bakit
hindi na lang natin ito idaan sa usapan para walang buhay ang
masawi.

Mapasaamin ang kaharian mo
Sundin ang loob Mo dito sa lupa para nang sa langit.

Bigyan Mo kami ng aming kakanin sa araw-araw

At patawarin Mo kami sa aming mga sala
Para nang pagpapatawad namin sa nagkakasala sa amin.
At huwag Mo kaming ipahintulot sa tukso
At iadya Mo kami sa lahat ng masama
