1. Yes, I’m a big fan of sports.

Although I don’t have any square time for sports, volleyball is my cup of tea. I took
up playing volleyball in grade 6 and often play volleyball with my grandma and my cousin in the summer each year.
Initially, I found it difficult because it always hurt my arm but when I was guided by my mother, playing volleyball
was a piece of cake. Besides entertainment, volleyball also has health benefits. It not only relieves stress but also
builds up my resistance to disease and practices my reflexes a lot.
2. To be honest, I don’t go in for watching sports on TV. I find that quite boring for me because I just sit on my sofa
and watch them, not play them. Moreover, most sports programs are taken by professionals or experienced people
so sometimes I feel incompetent and my mind says that I should play it now instead of watching it on TV.
Therefore, I think I should find time to study or hang out with my friends.
3. I make certain that in my nation, football is the most popular sport and loved by all people regardless of age or
gender. The reason is that football is a dramatic and explosive sport. Because football has few scores, every time
a goal is scored, fans feel more excited than other sports. Besides, when winning and immersing themselves in the
stream of screaming fans, Vietnamese people feel free and comfortable releasing energy. So football is known as
“The King of Sports” because of this.
4. Absolutely, I would say that I’m keen on participating in sports rather than watching them. Playing sports gives
me a realistic experience and keeps me active. Furthermore, I think that sports also teach me about self-control to
perform fairly, and how to work with others to dominate competition. Last but not least, it increases people’s desire
to compete and succeed instead of watching another success.
5. In my opinion, there are outstanding differences in the sports activities that both genders are keen on
participating in. For boys, they go in for strenuous sports such as volleyball, and badminton to build up their
strength and muscle. Meanwhile, girls are big fans of relaxing activities like yoga or ballet to get into shape and
stay healthy. However, there are also a number of sports with the participation of men and women, there is no limit
to each person's interests.
6. Honestly, initially, I used to be a couch potato and that made me get tired and have no energy to do anything.
Therefore, I stuck with doing yoga every morning to improve my health and the result is amazing. I feel stronger
and at peace with myself. However, I only do yoga in the summer when I have time, and just do it on Sundays
when I participate in the semester because I have to go to school.
7. For yoga, I choose to use yoga apps on my phone instead of looking for a tutor. On average, exercises last 10 to
15 minutes and have rest periods between steps. Obviously, the app helps me be self-disciplined in exercising and
I can also track my own exercise schedule. In addition, the app also has a number of other features such as
reminders to drink water and a menu for that day for the most effective exercise performance.
8. Yes, definitely. I will take up cycling in order to become even healthier. Now, I don’t really remember when was
the last time that I rode a bicycle, but I surely remember very well that I used to really enjoy riding it when I was a
child. Anyway, cycling would be good for my health, primarily because it would help me burn whatever bad fat is
left in my body while also increasing my stamina, strength, and aerobic fitness. Besides, it would help me improve
my physical and mental health greatly by allowing me to breathe some fresh air when I ride a bicycle.
9. Yes, I know a friend who is a semi-professional in badminton.
