Science is the study of inanimate objects, what they are
composed of, how they operate and how they interact.

Technology is using the findings in science to make

practical goods and services ultimately, to benefit
animate users (life forms).

Society is a grouping of animate life forms who then

specialize and trade so as to increase the efficiency
and benefits to the group.

I don’t really know, but I’d like to speculate here and,

then, come back and see what is said by someone who
knows what they are talking about.

For me, science is a philosophical approach to

understanding the world that has a rigorous
methodology that provides evidence for or evidence
against an assertion. It never proves anything because
it is always open to new facts and new ways of seeing
things. However, evidence can be very strong and
provide a high degree of confidence or validity in
certain things.

Yet, science depends on being

society mean?
By themselves they mean absolutely nothing.
Individuals might incorporate some meaning into them
in their lives, but that meaning is not inherent in those
topics. Science, technology, and society have no
intrinsic meaning, just as a potato has no intrinsic
meaning, although someone who found a potato might
find meaning in that potato. (“This means we eat

knowledge of cause and effect, which is science. The
society uses this science to develop tools that allow it

There is only science and society.

Science is the curiosity about nature.

Society is part of nature, but is made of humans. We

behave economically, relationally, and have fun and
fights.

Technology is a new method. Technology is

developed and evolved.

Science is discovered.

all about?
Science is trying to understand more of the natural
world.

Technology is trying to be better at manipulating things

in the real world, for the benefit of some humans.

Society is all about YOU - what you try to do, and who
you work with in trying to do it.

All these things are demanding. You can make mistakes

- easily, often and repeatedly. So you need help, from
others - other scientists, other engineers, other people.
Only some of these people can or will be able to help.
But lots more will offer to help.

First and foremost, civilization (which preceded

agriculture,) was invented to provide both order and to
decrease the unfairness of life.

As it proceeded, it became a method of providing a

means of lessening individual labor and dependence
upon your personal labor to live.

The result of this was to increase the resources

available to all, and allow more people to concentrate
on tasks not directly related to survival.

Civilization has been taken over many times by those

who would take control for their own desires the
resources and people of the world.

technology, and society?

Well from your question I take it you want to know what

you want to know.

Which is either a tautology or an indication that you’re

not even able to formulate a question that clarifies what
you’d like to know.

Which probably means you don’t actually want to know.

Even though not knowing will probably kill you.

society? Why?
In my opinion society came first and after it came
science and then technology. But I mean a primitive
society as a group of humans, not as civilization. Since
the dawn of our existence, we always needed to be in
groups to survive. There was always a group of humans
with different tasks for each. Science came after
because humans needed to observe the laws of nature
in order to create simple tools (Remember science
could be any kind of imparcial observation,
