Course Learning Objectives:

The course aims to provide a foundation of computational methods and models to the students. The
students learn to apply these models to computer problems in the area of science and engineering.
Particularly, the course learning objectives are to:

 Analyze and solve a system of linear equations appearing in various engineering models.

 Apply concepts of vector spaces, eigenvalues, eigenvectors and orthogonaliztion to solve linear
model matrices.
Students Learning Outcomes:
The text and class discussion will introduce the concepts, methods, applications, and logical arguments; students
will practice them and solve problems on daily assignments, and they will be tested on quizzes, midterms, and
the final.
Moreover, After completion of the course the students will be able to:
 Apply the concepts and methods described in the syllabus
 Solve problems using linear algebra
 Know a number of applications of linear algebra
 Follow complex logical arguments and develop modest logical arguments.
