1 INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this technical specification is to establish the criteria for the design for the civil works,
electrical and communications installations.

2 STANDARDS, CODES AND REGULATIONS

The Plant shall be engineered and constructed in compliance with all applicable national and local codes
and requirements. Ignorance or non-inclusion of a standard does not exempt the contractor from its
compliance.

3 DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

The developer is free to optimize the layout of the plant.

The design of the Project shall take into account the environmental condition at the site including but not
limited to temperature, wind, flooding risk, irradiation, grid conditions, altitude and of any other source
which could compromise the operation of the Plant's components.

If orography and plots are favourable, central inverters.
Otherwise, string inverters.
Preferred inverter: Sungrow SG 3125 HV-30 (central)
inverters

Max. AC/LV drop voltage (%) <3 (accumulated) <0.5

Max. AC/HV drop voltage (%) <1.0 (accumulated) <1.0 (accumulated)

4 CIVIL WORKS

The civil works to be undertaken by the developer shall include, as a minimum, the following:

4.1 site preparation

Site Preparation layout drawing(s) shall include traffic plans, temporary roads, soil stock area, temporary/
permanent fence and gates, temporary laydown area(s) and any other preparation works. The developer
should perform the ground works needed to ensure that the final slope remains within the range
recommended by the tracker manufacturer, generally up to 10% in the North – South direction.
Slopes over 15% must be totally avoided.

4.2 Access roads, internal roads, parking lots and site laydown

The developer shall design roads, parking lots and any other areas within the site, including a control room cabin equipped as a
work station with a meeting room. The design of these buildings will be provided by Solarpack.

The minimum technical requirements for the roads are (other requirements different than the ones shown below shall be justified
properly):

• Width: 4 m (internal)
• Curvature radius: at least 12 m • Maximum

longitudinal point slope: 10% in straight line and 7% in curves. • Transversal slope: 2% to prevent
to allow the water to drain away.

The surfaces shall be designed in order to enable the circulation of heavy vehicles during both the construction and the operational
phase.

4.3 General layout

The developer will take into account in the design of the layout:

All areas of the project must be accessible for maintenance tasks
• A perimeter separation will be designed between the photovoltaic structures and the fence of 10 m and 15 m from
photovoltaics structures to public roads except for another regulatory requirement..

• A network of main roads will be designated as the one that connects the access with the control center and power stations.

In the case of trackers, space will be left between north-south structures for accessibility

In the case of fixed structures, every 200m in the east-west direction, a corridor will be left for accessibility between
structures. • Avoid shadows from trees,
buildings, electric lines, etc., as much as possible
• Leave buffers from roads, archeological findings, environmental restrictions, water bodies and every condition according to
the local or national regulations.
• Topograhic study: design the plant on contour lines with a maximum 20 cm spacing

4.4 Drainage system

As a general rule, the Plant will be designed to avoid external drainage and internal drainage. For external drainage, the return
period will be of 50 years, and for the internal drainage, the return period will be of 25 years.

Note: However, the consultant must verify that the return period meets the applicable laws, banks and other stakeholders'
requirements.

The drainage system should be designed in line, as a minimum, with the following:

• The conclusions of the flood risk assessment, the site topography, and the site configuration

All the applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

4.5 Foundations for modules, buildings and others

The developer shall design the foundations in accordance to the applicable laws, standards, and regulations and their experience.

The developer design the structure foundations in line with the results of the geotechnical study undertaken at the site.

4.6 Control Center Building

The installation of a civil works building of sufficient dimensions for the following facilities will be
contemplated:
• Control room for 3 workstations
• Toilets
• Workshop •
Warehouse

4.7 Security Fence and Gate

The fence/gate height and detail design shall meet local requirement of renewable energy industrial
design standards, codes or regulations. Where local requirements are not able, the minimum height of
fence and gate shall be 2 m high with 3 barbed on the top towards outside.

The gate will be enough to let the most restrictive machinery to enter inside the plant to work properly
during construction and O&M phases.

5 ELECTRICAL WORKS
The developer shall design the electrical system in accordance with the grid code requirements, the
distribution network operator requirements and applicable standards/laws. The design should account
for the environmental conditions at the site.

5.1 Power Converter Station

The developer will design the power stations under the following assumptions:

• If the installation is at ground level, a 1m wide perimeter sidewalk will be proposed

• If the installation is raised 50cm above the ground, a perimeter corridor will be considered for
maintenance work.

5.2 Protection system

All system components shall be protected against any surges due to lightning, voltage switching and
communication voltage spikes.

If it is determined that an isolated ground grid is required for lightning protection, this isolated grid must
be appropriately designed and installed.

5.3 Trenches
The developer will design the ditches deep enough to avoid damage from machinery working on the
crops.

5.4 Lightning Protection System

The lightning protection system shall be designed in line with the best market practice and the applicable
standard and regulations and taking into account the Project documentation.

All components must be protected, including the communication and security devices.

6 SECURITY SYSTEM
The developer will design a perimeter security system for the project or islands formed by the fence and
avoiding interference with drainage and roads.
