Research Design
This research uses the quantitative – non experimental design utilizing the
Surrendran,2019). This study also utilizes non-experimental study which is a form of research
where researchers cannot manipulate either predictor to see how does it affect criterion variable.
The design will be used since the main purpose of the study is to determine the academic
challenges of the working students at St. Rose College Educational Foundation Inc.
The study was conducted in St. Rose Colleges Educational Foundation Inc. located at
The chosen participants consisted of 40 students who are working while studying. All
participants have experienced working while studying and qualified to be the participant. The
participant’s provided information is given with full disclosure in which involves disclosing

Methods of Gathering Data
In order to gather the information needed about the respondents, the researcher asked for
permission from the subject teacher of St. Rose Collage Educational Foundation INC. to
participants of our study. Participant were given time to answer and then the researcher will
collect the questionnaire checklist if the respondents are done answering. After getting and
tallying the response of the participants, results were collated and presented statistically.
Research Instruments
The research question made by the researchers were all accurate. The inquiry will
undergo first with the evaluation and validation process, attested by the validator Mr. Alvin
Manzon. After the approval, the questions will be pilot tested. The instrument used in this study
The Checklist that was used by the researcher was composed of three parts, the
respondents were given choices to choose between Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Neutral, Agree
and Strongly Agree. Additionally, Always, Usually, Often, Sometimes and Never.
