GADGET RULES AND

CONSEQUENCES
(Cellphone, iPad, Computer, TV, Gaming Device)

1. No Gadgets in the morning while getting ready for School, Church, Mommy &

Daddy’s workplace, and any other places 🎒👟 Avoid bad attitude in the

morning, it can ruin our entire day 🙄😒😣🙅🏻

❌📱Gadget will be confiscated for the whole day.

2. Make sure to make up the bed before leaving the Bedroom ☝

❌📱Can only use Gadgets from 2pm to 4pm within that day.

3. No Gadgets during mealtime/snack time 🍽️🥪 Gadget is not allowed anywhere

near the dining table, so you won’t be tempted to use it.

🙇🏻‍♀ ️❌📱Time out for 30 minutes and No Gadgets allowed until the end of the
day.

4. No Gadgets in the car unless urgent 🚘 (Example of an urgent matter: Calls from
Family but should ask permission first).

❌📱Gadget will be confiscated until after dinner.

5. When your class is dismissed, turn off Silent mode, so you’ll hear it if ever we

call 🧏🏻 But if we don’t, it’s your responsibility to text/call us, so we’ll know if

we need to pick you up 🏫🚌 Don’t go anywhere else aside from the Waiting Area
and patiently wait until we arrive.

❌📱Gadget will be confiscated for the whole day.

6. After School, eat your lunch, and homework must be completed first before

using any Gadget 🍽️📚📝 (No Lunch, Homework incomplete, NO GADGET)

❌📱Gadget will also be confiscated until the end of the day.

7. No gadgets inside the Restroom 🚽🚿

🙇🏻‍♀ ️❌📱Timeout for (30) Thirty minutes, then gadget will be confiscated until
after dinner.
 8. Strictly No Gadgets during Exam Week. MAKE YOURSELF BUSY WITH YOUR

STUDIES! 🤓️️📖💡

❌📱If you don’t comply, your punishment would be a (1) One week Confiscation.
But if you obey without any complain, you will get a Reward.

9. Stop using/playing with your gadget and let go of it immediately or at least

within 2 minutes when asked to do something 🗣️👂🏻 If you don’t comply

especially if you talk back,

🙇🏻‍♀ ️❌📱Timeout for (1) One hour and gadget will be confiscated until the end of
the day.

10. Mommy and Daddy are the only people that you are allowed to contact

without any permission 👫🏻 Other persons including other family members,

friends or classmates should be permitted by Mommy only before you can
chat/talk to them. Doesn’t matter who initiated the conversation, ask
permission no matter what.

🙇🏻‍♀️❌📱Timeout for (15) Fifteen minutes. Gadget will be confiscated for (1) One
day.

11. AUDIO CALLS, IN-GAME CALLS, ESPECIALLY VIDEO CALLS ARE STRICTLY NOT
ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOUSE EVEN IF YOU USE A HEADSET/EARPHONES

UNLESS YOU ARE PERMITTED TO DO SO 🚫🏠📞📲🤳🏻

🙇🏻‍♀ ️❌📱Timeout for (1) One hour and gadget will be confiscated for (7) seven
days.

12. DO NOT OPEN APPS, MUSIC, PHOTOS, OR VIDEOS THAT IS NOT SUITABLE

FOR KIDS 🔞🙈🙉 We are not beside you all the time, so we won’t know. But if you
break this rule, know that you are also breaking our trust.

🙇🏻‍♀ ️❌📱Timeout for (45) Forty-five minutes and gadget will be confiscated for
(15) Fifteen days.

13. Gadgets to be at the Charging station by strictly 7:00PM 🔌🔋 And bedtime is at

8:30PM 😴

❌📱Gadget will be confiscated until the day after tomorrow.

14. Never chat/talk to anyone you do not know on the internet and disclose any
personal information like your Name, Age, Address, School, Family details, etc.

 🙇🏻‍♀ ️❌📱Timeout for (1) One hour and gadget will be confiscated for a minimum
of (15) Fifteen to (30) Thirty Days or it may be taken away from you for a
longer time depending on the gravity of the situation.

15. NOT EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON THE INTERNET IS TRUE AND APPROPRIATE 📱💻
So don’t just believe, copy, or mimic anything you read, watch, or see on your
Phone especially on YouTube and TikTok. Be smart and don’t hesitate to ask
Mommy or Daddy if anything is confusing you or about anything you want to
know.

❌📱Gadget will be confiscated for a minimum of (5) Five days or longer

depending on what you did.

16. MOBILE PHONES ARE PRIMARILY USED FOR COMMUNICATION 📞 Therefore, if

Mommy or Daddy texted, you shall reply. You shall also answer Mommy or
Daddy’s call as soon as you heard your phone ring. Lastly, if you have any
emergencies when we are not around, you should call us immediately.

🙇🏻‍♀️❌📱Time out for (30) Minutes. Gadget will be confiscated for (2) Two Days.

17. GADGET USE IS NOT A MUST 📵 It is only a privilege from your parents and can
be taken away if you will frequently break these rules and if you will not
behave. Respect us and value our trust because not all the kids at your age
have the same privilege as yours.

18. ALWAYS BE GOOD, COURTEOUS, AND HONEST 😇 Talking back, Disobedience,

Tardiness, Lying, Unreasonable Tantrums, Bullying, Fighting with your Brother,
and other Bad behaviors not only to your parents, but also to other people
older than you, may it be a Family relative or not, all of these may affect your
Gadget privilege and you may also be punished.
