Has giving or receiving gratitude ever affected you or someone you know? The topic that I'm going to present today is about when I received gratitude from my friends. It is about when my friends helped me. (넘기고) This happened in the last semester when I was in SCIS. I like playing volleyball since I played volleyball in the 6th grade in physical education class. And also it is related to one of the summative Criterion C, communicate and presentation. That's why I joined our school's volleyball team. (넘기고) That day was the day of our girl’s team (except for boy’s team), had a volleyball match with our school SCIS and another school, YCIS in the upper school gym. The reason why we had a game in upper school gym is it is better than the other gym that is just for elementary students. (넘기고) In the middle of the game, when I was going to serve, I hit the ball with the wrong posture. Thus, I broke my middle finger. So after the game, I went to the A building health room with my friend. I was treated in the health room, and the health teacher told me not to move my fingers for a while. So I wore a cast on my finger for two weeks. (넘기고) Therefore, I couldn’t have fun activity in physical education class and design class too. Those things make me feel more upset. (넘기고) The name of the group where I have my best friends while hanging out with me is called Sandwich. Because all of my friends in this group like eating sandwiches in lunch time, so we named them like this. And we all liked this group’s name. They helped me a lot in various ways, such as they helped me take notes in science and I&S classes that’s about chemistry and religion like have to write a lot of things and complicated things. And help me to type words and essay with my school laptop. I feel grateful for my friends for helping me almost everyday at school. (넘기고) According to my experience, I learned the preciousness of my friends, and I became a person who helps friends more actively. Also, I think care and help between friends, makes the relationship better and better. These good actions make an impress , or person who receive thanks. (넘기고) Thank you for listening (끝)
