As Project Logistics Coordinator learned to achieve the responsible to ensure the
delivery of equipment’s “Just in Time” per the Scope of Supply into EPC Projects Job
Sites, including customs clearance and freight forwarding to various sites.

 Maintenance of a central register excel format of all shipments (look ahead),

tracking their progress and estimating on-site arrival dates.

 Develop/maintain an effective procedural process for the customs imports

exoneration duties & taxes government affairs.

 Assurance of customs compliance and subsequent application of letter of

exoneration for all duties. Provision of reporting for Client Logistics team to
demonstrate customs compliance.

 Administrative contracts management, with customs and warehouse

companies for payments on temporary storage, duties and taxes.

 Administrative contracts management of logistics requirements and

forwarding for shipping and delivery to Job Site instructions such that all
users understand their roles and responsibilities.

 Ensure maximum recognition of Lessons Learned in process.

 Develop/maintain a process and tool infrastructure for Logistics information

flow and input during execution of projects works, leveraging on Logistics

SOP and project systems.

 Create/maintain Packaging Procedures for all transit types

 Create/maintain, with Vendor involvement as appropriate, Logistics Plans for

critical/perishable/dangerous deliverables.

 Ensure application of QC & QA plans to applicable consignments.

 Co-ordination of on-time Logistics arrangements using look-ahead reporting

provided by EPC Scheduler, EPC Sourcing Coordinator and others on project

 team. This shall include expediting international Logistics collections, as well

as expediting local customs processing.

 By close liaison with Project Managers, the development of imaginative, low

risk, best-cost solutions for consolidated shipments shall be a priority for the

role.

 Co-ordinate regular review of at-risk deliverables which may require critical

shipment planning. Report critical shipment plans, costs and schedules to

Project Management Team.

 Co-ordination of all specialize Heavy Hauling transports, at ship arrivals and

their final delivery to foundations in job sites.

 Maintain monthly metrics clearly demonstrating performance of all key

transaction cycles in the Logistics chain – ie, time to collect after sign-off, time

to flight/vessel, customs clearance time, etc.

 Establish effective communication with project team to highlight Logistics-related

issues and to initiate discussion regarding forthcoming shipments as per their priority

to construction managers.

 The integration of this role into the PMT for the project is key to success.

 Follow the Leadership of Manifold Fabrication Site Logistics Manager so as to

assure common and robust practices.
