Columbia University is a dynamic institution, attracting new faculty and
introducing new courses every year. As a result, the curriculum may
vary slightly from year to year. In some of the core areas, we require
students to take a specific course. In others, we give students options
among different course offerings that meet the core learning requirement.
However, our commitment is to ensure that all students have access to
courses that cover each of these core curriculum areas (30.5 points):
