Course This course sets the basic framework of service to the community and the Filipino people as the basis for all NSTP component courses. It
Description emphasizes the UDM values of honor and excellence in the service of the people and is consistent with the principles embodied in the NSTP
IRR of 2009. The Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) of the National Service Training Program
(NSTP) are designed to encourage the youth to contribute to the improvement of the general welfare and the quality of Life of Filipinos.
These will require the students to carry out projects and activities contributory to the general welfare and the betterment of life of
community members or the enhancement of its facilities, especially those devoted to improving health, education, safety, livelihood,
environment, entrepreneurship, recreation, moral, patriotism, and nationalism of the citizenry, and other social welfare services.
