1. Duration of the paper is 2 hours 30 minutes.
2. There are 28 questions in all.
3. All the answers must be correctly numbered as in the question paper and written in the answer sheets.
4. In case you don’t attempt a question, write the question number and mention NA in front of it.
5. The paper is divided into five parts :-
• Section A – Question 1 to 17 are objective type questions. Each question carries 1 mark.
• Section B – Question 18 to 22 are short answer type questions, carrying 3 marks each.
• Section C – Question 23 to 24 are case study-based questions answer. Each question carries 4 marks.
• Section D – Question 25 to 27 are long answer type questions. Each question carries 5 marks.
• Section E – Question 28 is Map-based question, carrying 5 marks. 28.1 from History (Identification) carries 3
marks and 28.2 from Geography (Location) carries 2 marks.
