The MID-approved MSV measuring system, installed in

loading bays and it is composed of:
 P.d. meter
 Strainer/Gas-separator with a thermal relief valve
 automatic valve
 EM6422 Pulse-emitter ( for VEGAT or VEGAII )
 An electronic counter Vega T or Vega II (please
refer to proper data-sheet for further details) or
mechanical counter
 Jounction box and related cables

According to necessity, the system can be further

equipped with the following optional accessories:
 PT100 Thermo-resistance (for VegaT or VegaII)
 In-line thermometer
 In-line pressure gauge
 Differential pressure gauge
 Additivation system

Approvals
All the versions are designed and built according to EU
directives ATEX, PED and MID.

Functioning
The designing and assembling of the measuring instrument
must guarantee a high-level metrological standard; for this
reason the strainer has been designed to convey any
eventual air into the gas-separator (1). As the air builds up,
the floating-sphere sinks (2) and the air-strainer opens (3).
The opening of the air-strainer activates a micro-switch that,
commands the closing of the automatic valve inhibiting
product delivery.
As the air exits the gas-separator, the sphere (2) floats
upwards closing the air-strainer. Such movement activates
the micro-switch again, opens the automatic valve allowing
for product delivery.
