3.B.2 Inspection of the wires

NOTE Use a flashlight and a mirror for the inspection.

1. Inspect the wires behind the RH and LH MID Side Panels in the areas of the
anchor nuts (2, Fig. 3) for the RH and LH PAX Panel Front.
a. If there are no damaged wires, continue with Section 3.B.4.
b. If there are damaged wires, continue with Section 3.B.3.

3.B.3 Repair of damaged wires

1. If necessary, remove the RH and/or the LH MID Side Panel (AMM 25-82-04, 4-3).
2. Remove cable ties and lacing tapes as needed (MTC 20-80-20-402).
3. Categorize the damage of the wires (MTC 20-80-20-442).
4. Repair the wires if needed in accordance with the Standard Practices Manual
(e.g. MTC 20-80-20-103).
5. Continue with Section 3.B.5.

3.B.4 Inspection of the Routing

1. Inspect the routing and the fixation of the wires behind the RH and LH MID Side
Panels through the mounting cutouts for the RH and LH PAX Panels Front.
a. If the minimum clearance (more than 20 mm between the anchor nuts and
the wires) exists (see Fig. 3) and the wires are properly secured
(see MTC 20-80-20-402), continue with Section 3.B.7.
b. If the minimum clearance does not exist or the wires are not properly secured

3.B.5 Reinstallation of the wires

NOTE In most cases, it is possible to route the wires through the

mounting cutouts for the PAX Panels without removing the
MID Side panels.
1. If necessary, remove the RH and/or the LH MID Side Panel (AMM 25-82-04, 4-3).
2. Install the wires in accordance with MTC 20-80-20-441 in order to get a
minimum clearance (more than 20 mm between the wires and the anchor nuts)
(see Fig. 3).
a. If the minimum clearance exists on each anchor nut, continue with
Section 3.B.7.
b. If it is impossible to get the minimum clearance, continue with Section 3.B.6.

3.B.6 Installation of Multi Cable Ties

1. Protect all areas of the wires without the minimum clearance by means of
Multi Cable Ties (see Fig. 4).

Figure 4

2. If removed, install the MID Side Panels (AMM 25-82-02, 4-3).

3. Make sure, the Multi Cable Ties do not touch the anchor nuts.
4. Confirm that PART I of this ASB has been accomplished and repetitive
inspections are necessary in accordance with Section 3.C PART I.

3.B.7 Final steps

1. If removed, install the MID Side Panels (AMM 25-82-02, 4-3) and after this
installations inspect the routing of the wires in accordance with Section 3.B.4.
