32-2111 Generator Set
This work item shall be enumerated per each complete set of generator irrespective of
number of auxiliary equipment such as line cubicles, NGRs (Neutral Grounding Resistors),
relay panels, generator control benchboards, etc.
This work item shall be measured when the following work activities are completed.
(6) Installation of DC system for the emergency lubrication oil pumps, including battery
installation work which consists of dissolving of powdered electrolyte, filling into
battery cells, setting of batteries on the racks and connection of links or wires
between batteries.
This work item shall be enumerated per each complete set of switchgear, MCC or panel.
For MCC, each vertical section shall be deemed as one set.
This work item shall be measured when the following work activities are completed.
(1) Installation of switchgear, MCCs and panels .
(2) Inter-connection of bus bars and wires between switchgear, MCCs and panels.
(4) Energizing.
(1) The length shall be measured from one side of termination point to the other side
as shown in construction drawings, not counting the cut off length.
(2) In case the cable length for laying is specified in a cable schedule, the measured
length shall be the specified length in the cable schedule less 6m.
(3) In case neither cable schedule nor construction drawing specifies the cable length
for laying, the length shall be measured in site from one side of termination point to
the other side, provided that no slack of cable shall be considered as measured
length.
This work item shall be measured when the following work activities are completed.
(2) Fabrication and installation of cable protection materials such as conduit pipes,
perforated cable trays, etc.

following method:
(1) In case the wire length is shown on the material take-off sheet, the laid length shall
be deemed to be 5% less than the value shown on the sheet.
(2) In case the wire length is not shown on the material take-off sheet, the length shall
be measured from the construction drawings.
This work item shall be measured when the following work activities are completed.
