With the advancement of today’s technology, religious practices are also influenced such as that
practices that used to be sacred are now getting casual and usual to people. Globalization shifts the
cultural makeup of the world and creates a homogenized “global culture.”
The relationship between globalization and religion is one with new possibilities and further
challenges. While religion takes advantage of communication and transportation technology, it is at
the same time the source of globalization’s greatest resistance by acting as a haven for those
standing in opposition to its power.
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RELIGION AND GLOBAL CONFLICT AND, CONVEYS GLOBAL
PEACE.
The only way to tell the relation of religion to global conflict is religion is the most main cause of
global conflict pretending to be idealistic and promoting peace but actually promoting indifferences
and discrimination, mainly the main cause of political dogma/authority. Furthermore, Samuel

Abdelhak Azzouzi confirms that it is a clash of civilizations of the consequences that’s why it’s hard to
concord the catholic and Islam religions and more. One of the reasons why religion objects the
globalization for the reason that Huntington’s thesis Criticized by Edward said and Amartya Sen that

that we have in our world. And, we should always remember that culture is dynamic, culture is neither
station nor monolithic/inflexible. All in all, Globalization between religions respect is a must.
Technology has played a significant role in the globalization of religion. The internet, social media,
and other forms of digital communication have made it easier for religious groups to connect with
people around the world and spread their message to a new audience.

My current research interest involves listening to these different Asian voices and trying to glean from them some challenges
for my work in religious education. I believe that since religion itself (and this is so true of Christianity, especially where Asia is
concerned) is both a tool and an agent of globalization, religious educators need to be equipped with countering the negative
effects of globalization and sharing the positive effects of the same. Religious education also needs to be truly religious
education-that it needs to nurture people's commitment within their respective...

As religious and traditional beliefs are decreasing, the explosion of new religions is another prominent
religious phenomenon in this globalized world.
