3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The purpose of method statement is to describe the sequence and methodology for Acrylic
counter works of Godrej Fund Management Building at Indranagar, Bangalore.

4. SCOPE OF WORK

Supply, install and finishing finish the Acrylic counter in accordance with specification as
shown on the drawings of Godrej Fund Management Building at Indranagar, Bangalore.

 Project specifications / BOQ

 Approved Shop Drawings
 Material Approval Request (MAR).
 Technical data sheet & certificates / reports of materials.
 BOQ NO: H/2.1,2.3 in ID BOQ

6. MATERIALS

 12mm tk acrylic panel

 19mm tk Marine plywood-710 grade-Green ply
 MS 25mmx25mmx2mm square tube- Apollo
 Enamel paint
 Zinc chromate primer

7. DELIVERY STORAGE & HANDLING

 Stack all the Acrylic panel, Plywood & MS square tube on a dry & covered place,
sheltered from rain.
 Materials received at site shall be checked for the following defects prior to its
acceptance:
a. All of same type but distinctly different colour or texture to be rejected
immediately.
b. All should be free from holes seams, shakes, pockets, stains and other unwanted
effects.
c. Thickness tolerance should be between +/-2mm.

9. SS RAILING WITH GLASS WORK METHODOLOGY

 Providing and fixing Hand wash Counter with inbuilt Sink having depth of 600mm
and 300mm high front facia in approved design finished in 12mm thick approved
shade and sample of Acrylic Solid Surface. Solid Surface to be stuck on 19mm thick
marine ply (710 grade) of approved make, ply shall be properly anchored and grouted
into walls.
 Cost to include fusing of all the joints of solid surfaces to achieve a seamless surface,
thermos plasting etc to complete. Adhesive to be used as per manufactures
recommendation.
 Counter shall be supported with approved MS box section framework to achieve
approved design. All MS works will be painted with one coat of approved Zinc
chromate primer and two coats of approved Enamel paint.
 Counter to be supported from wall by means of approved anchor fastners.
 Necessary cut-outs for basin to be provided. Cost to also include making necessary
cut-outs for taking pipes and basins through counter top.
 SS Drain Channel, Bottle trap and waste coupling to be provided as per detail
Drawings.
 Shop Drawing to be prepared for approvals prior to execute the work.

10. STAGES OF WORK INSPECTIONS AND MATERIAL DELIVERED TO SITE

INSPECTION:

 Incoming Materials Inspection Request (IMIR) will be raised to inspect once the
materials to site are delivered.
 Work inspection request (WIR) will be raised prior to proceeding for Acrylic counter
works.
 Work inspection request (WIR) will be raised after completion of Acrylic counter
works.

11. SAFETY HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT

All work and individual safety precautions will be taken by SIPL as per SIPL & Project Site
