WHI,REAS it is expedicnt further to amend the Constitulion of the lslamic Republic of

Pekirran for the purposes hercinafler appearing:

l. Short titlc and commcnce ent.- (l) This Act may be callcd the Constitution
(Amendment) Act. 2018.

(2) ll shall come inlo forcc al once.

2. Amendment of Articlc 27 of the Corstitutiol.- ln the Constilution of the lslamic

Republic of Pakistan, in Article 27, in clause (l)- in the first proviso, for the word "fo(y". the $otd
"sixtv" shall be substiluted.

areas are still lagging behind thereforc an amendment is propos€d to extend the period in order to
give more oppo(unity to the people ofless developed areas.
