II. Program and Background Rationale

It is becoming apparent that our nation’s schools are our most important
learning organizations. Not only is it critical to train and prepare our workers for
changing industries and a global economy, but the educational system can serve as a
foundation for lifelong learning that can continue into the workplace.
As educational organizations strive to become learning organizations, they
must work toward distinguishing between instances requiring adjustments and
corrections, and situations which merit change and redesign.
This is the aim of Coral na Munti National High School teachers. To think of the
possible ways and means on how they are going to adjust the method of teaching to
the present condition of education in the new normal.

III. Program Description

The proponent of the program thought that the topic Redesigning Education
for the Future would be a means by which teachers can think of an innovative way
by which their teaching can be engaging to learners.
The training will focus on the discussion on what education was before
pandemic and what teachers can do now during pandemic.
The methodologies used were direct-Instruction approach, inquiry-based
approach and lecturette.
The training will be done virtually since the training itself is merely discussion.
The teachers are expected to take down notes during the session and ask questions
for clarification. They may also give opinions and suggestions for the improvement of
the session.

IV. Target Learner’s Description

The participants of the program are 1 Head Teacher, 2 Master Teachers, 26

Teachers and 3 Non-Teaching Personnel.
Since the training will focus on teaching, the teachers are the main participants
of the program.
See Attachment B for the List of Proposed Participants.

Learning Results Chain:

Impact:
Facing the new challenges imposed by our society, it becomes essential to
rethink education in teaching. The rise of pandemic calls also for the digital rise in
education. The innovations, coming from all corners of the globe, are presenting
solutions to a range of challenges in the digital age. Although different platforms in
education were introduced, we cannot deny the fact that we cannot embrace all of
them at once. We must choose one which we know will be appropriate to our
learners.
Through this training, Coral na Munti National High School will be engaged
with the previous scenario in education and what possible changes they can provide
in response to the needs in education this new normal.

VI. Program Learning Objectives

Terminal Objective:
