My Mask

Have you ever felt like you needed to wear several masks to fit in? We all hide "parts of
ourselves" because we fear rejection. They are normal parts of life, but not the best ones. How
would your mask look if you had to show people who you are? Make a mask using the template.

As I grow up, I am ashamed to show the other side of myself. People

see me as a cheerful person and yeah always wearing my smiles.
But they don’t know that I am also suffering breakdowns. Sometimes I
become selfish when it comes to myself. I want to be alone I don’t
want companion, I have trust issues, troubled past, problems and
challenges that embarrassed me, mistakes and failure. From a young
age we’re even taught to hide. You need to be happy around your
family. show them that you are not easily discouraged. I’ll hide
behind knowing what to do so that people don’t see how scared
I am, how inept, how much I have failed. The hidden part of me
wanting the most? A short answer might be the avoidance of rejection. We hide ugly,
stupid, pitiful parts of ourselves to avoid being unloved, ridiculed,
alone. And yet at the bottom of that need to avoid rejection is the
very guarantee of rejection. After all, I am rejecting the parts of me I
keep hidden. Starving myself from the humanity, love, and warmth I
so desperately yearn for it. What I want to offer is to expose the
hidden parts of ourselves. With the knowledge that sometimes
they’ll be judged, ridiculed, and rejected. And with the audacity that
the people who love us the most may accept, care, and support
these parts of us. Take risks by sharing what feels ugly and wrong,
and see what happens. It may be the things that we keep hidden
are the very things that tie us to one another. Take risks by sharing
what feels ugly and wrong, and see what happens. It may be the
things that we keep hidden are the very things that tie us to one
another.

so take your time.

or what your life is really like)?

sad and disappointed with myself.

4. Are there any similarities or differences between your own descriptions as compared to that
of the others about you?
- I think maybe there is
