The following are physical changes, which boys and girls experience
during puberty stage. Write B if the physical change mentioned happens
for boys and G for girls.

Ask : What is Puberty ?

B. Presenting Examples / Instances of the Lesson


Present a picture of a child and a teenager
Ask : Describe the picture. Take note of the physical change between
a child and a teenager.

C. Discussing New Concepts and Practicing New Skill # 1


Say : I will show you a Video Clip about Puberty and the Physical
changes of boys and girls that they undergo during this stage.
As you enter the stage of Puberty , you will experience the physical
changes in your body. There will be some health issues and
concerns that you should attend to during this stage of your life.

Raising of Problem:
What are the health issues and concerns that young people should
attend to during puberty ?
Say : Now, let us divide our class into six.
a. Group 1 – will discuss about Height and Weight
b. Group 2 – will discuss about Hearing Related Problems
c. Group 3 – will discuss about Vision Problems
d. Group 4 – will discuss about Skin, Hair and Nail Problems
e. Group 5 - will discuss about Posture and Spine Disorders

f. Group 6 – will discuss about Oral/ Dental Problems
