MUSIC
1.RHYTHM – refers to the flow, the breathing pattern
or, simply the pulse in Music.
2. BEAT– is the most basic unit of time in Music.
3. METER – is the grouping of beats in a measure.
4.RHYTMHIC PATTERN – are the division of beats into
patterns of sound by clapping or tapping the beat.
5. TIME SIGNATURE – are the numbers written at the
beginning of the staff. The upper number tells the
number of beats in a measure, while the lower number
tells what kind of note receives one beat
EXAMPLE :
3 - Upper number = how many beats in a measure
4 – Lower number = note that receives one beat
SIMPLE TIME SIGNATURE = 2,3, 4

Conducting is hand gesture to lead the singers and
Instrumentalists into the right track following the signs
and symbols according to the composistion.

1.What are logos ?
Logos are unique identifying symbol. It is a
special image to identify an individual, business,
group or product.
2.What are the different kinds of logos ?
a. Personal logos – are personal images used to
brand possessions, achievements, or even one’s
identity.
b. Crest – are logos that are used to identify a
family, country, or organization.
Example : Presidential seal, Papal crest
c. Bussiness and Product logos – are logos that
make the product noticeable in the market without
showing the product itself.
3.What is logo design ?
Logo design is an important field of graphic art.
Graphic designers make sure that the design is
visually pleasing. A logo design has to be strong,
interesting and unique
4. Things to consider in making an effective logo
design:
a. Symbols - it is a picture of a thing that makes it
easier for people to recognize,
identify or recall.
b. Colors – one of the elements that makes
everything alive.
c. Words and text – say something about the
individual or business. It should be
few enough to be remembered
easily.
d. Shape, Symmetry, Balance – the use of simple
neat, and easy-to-recognize geometric
shapes can quickly impress a unique
identity in the eyes of the viewer.
e. Free- form – placement of text and symbol
f. Fonts, Typeface – use a font that evokes a

g. Proportion, size – it should be versatile and


flexible
h. Uniqueness and individuality – it should be
meaningful and timeless.
5. Basic Steps in Creating a Digital Logo
5.1 Visualize and Sketch Ideas
Think of the symbol you like to represent you.
Get a pencil and start sketching in a paper. Add
details like shapes and text.
5.2 Scan to digitize- To make the image editable in
computer, you have to scan it first using
Scanner or cellphone.
5.3 Get started with image program
Many drawing and image software programs
are available to create digital logos. Some
programs are downloadable or open source
such as Adobe Photoshop and Inkscape.
6. What is software ?
A software is a program and other operating
information used by a computer
7. Art element and principles are still applied even
with the use of technology.

1. What is fitness ?
FITNESS – Is the ability to perform physical
activities without getting tired so easily.
Physical fitness is divided into Five Health-Related
Fitness and Six Skill – Related Fitness
2.Five Components of Health-Related Fitness
a.Cardiovascular Fitness – is the ability of the
heart and circulatory system to supply oxygen to
muscles for an extended period of time
Ex. 3- minute Step Test
b. Muscular Endurance – refers to the ability of
the muscles to work over an extended period of
time without fatigue.
Ex. Push-up , Curl-up, Basic plank
c. Muscular Strength – refers to the maximum
amount of muscle can exert against an opposing

d. Flexibility – is the ability to move a body part


through a full range of motion at a joint.
Example: Sit and Reach
e. Body Composistion- is tha ratio of body fat to
lean mass/ Body Mass Index

3.Six Components of Skill- Related Fitness


AGILITY, BALANCE, COORDINATION, SPEED,
POWER AND REACTION TIME
4. What is Physical Activity Pyramid ?
Physical Activity Pyramid is a guide on how
much and what type of activity you need for good health
and fitness. It has four levels which are s follows
a. First Level – Habitual
These are activities that can be done everyday.
Ex. Cleaning the house, take the stairs, running
errands, work in the garden, walking to school
b. Second Level – Regularly
These are activities that can be done 3 – 5 times a
week/Sports and Aerobic Activities
Ex. Swimming, brisk walking bicycling,jogging
Dancing, playing basketball, soccer, tennis, hiking
c. Third Level – Often
These are activities that can be done 2-3 times a
week like bowling, yard work, golf, weight lifting,
rowing, yoga, curl-ups, push-ups, ballet
d. Fourth Level – Minimally
These are activities that can be done once a week
such as playing computer games, watching t.v.,
