TASK PERFORMANCE
Instructions:
1. Work in pairs and create two (2) different three-minute booking scripts, including the following
specifications and considerations. Use the sample dialogues provided in 03 Handout 2 as your guide.
• Number of guests to check-in
• Room types and configurations
• Room rate categories and tariffs
• Billing arrangement
• Type of reservation
2. Create your scripts with these format details:
 Short bond paper (8.5” x 11”)
 Font: Calibri
 Font Size: 11 pt.
 Single Spacing
 Margin: 1” all sides
3. An actual reservation procedure will be demonstrated in the last meeting before the examination
week (Week 4). A maximum of six (6) minutes will be given to each pair for presentation where they
are not allowed to hold a script.
4. One (1) student will be acting as a reservations staff, while the other will be a guest in two (2) rounds,
respectively:
• 1st round (Script A: Telephone) – Student A: Reservations staff | Student B: Guest
• 2nd round (Script B: Walk-in) – Student A: Guest | Student B: Front Desk Staff
Optional: Students are encouraged to bring props and dress in a more appropriate attire to make their
presentation more realistic.
5. Your output and presentation will be graded based on the following rubric:
