• Webpages were static and were called read-only web.
• It is also known as a flat or stationary page, and users
cannot manipulate it.
• The only accessible feedback mechanism was through
private emails.
WEB 2.0
The term used to describe the present generation of the
World Wide Web concentrates on its capability to provide
people the means to collaborate and share information
online.
• Dynamic Website - The content of the website changes
• Interactive - The user may be able to comment or create a
user account
WEB 3.0
• It is described by Tim Berners-Lee (Father of the WWW)
as the read-write-execute web.
• It has been referred to as the semantic web – The
ability of web technologies to understand and interpret
human-generated content
• Web 3.0 aims to have machines that understand the
users' preferences to be able to deliver web content
explicitly targeting the user.
