New Login Process

A step-by-step guide for the Customer Energy Portal


(CEP)

Starting September 11, 2023, the process for logging into CEP will change. A detailed descrip-
tion of all the changes is shown below.

1 Use the same CEP link and click “Login”.


Go to www.cep.siemens-energy.com.

2 Enter your CEP email address.

If it is registered with Microsoft, you will be prompted for your company Microsoft login pass-
word. (You will no longer use your CEP password.)
If your email is not registered with Microsoft, a one-time code will be sent to your email. Enter
this code on the pop-up window.
3 Follow the directions on the screen related to
Permission Request.

Click “Accept”.
4 The next prompt requests additional
information.

Click “Next”.
5 Choose your Multi Factor Authentication
option.

Choice 1 – Download the Microsoft Authenticator App. Click “Next” and follow the directions
provided. If you do not want to download the app, please follow Choice 2 below.
Choice 2 – Click “I want to set up a different method” on the previous screen. This will allow you
to set up a phone that can be texted or called for verification. If you would like to check your se-
curity settings and/or set up your phone by yourself, please click here (Microsoft MySign-Ins). This
will also allow you to change your MFA options in the future.

6 Success!
You should now be logged in safely and securely to Siemens Energy’s Customer Energy Portal
(CEP).
