4.1. Observation Report
City of Mati National High School or also known as the SPA Matiao National High
School way back in the past years in which this specialize Special Program in the
Arts. Mostly of this school and also the students are characterized by special
talents based on their skills and capabilities. During our visit and observation in
the school, students and teachers are super busy with their different task and
performances especially that they are preparing for an upcoming performance or
event in the school. There are also ongoing classes during that time with their
respective classrooms. In the area of covered court, there are also teacher and
student teacher that teaches and facilitate students with their performance and
critiques it for it to improve and the students are doing their practices and their
own things in the surroundings.
Collaboration with the other colleagues are present within them as beyond the
programs and events happens in the school that needs to be reunited with each
to have better relationship with one another to avoid conflicts and problems in the
school environment or work place. Also during the times of our observation or
visit in school, we can clearly tell that the teachers connect and share bond with
each other as they are really close and they understand each other in times in
organising and for the disciplined approach of the teachers as they serve as the
role model or good example for the students. For the side in the connection of
the teacher and students relationship, as this two where the two stakeholders in
school organisation and it is important to have good relationship and connection
with each other for the environment to have peaceful and quiet. In City High, it is
really present the good connections of the students to the teachers as they can
really communicate to the teachers and staff. The relationship within the both of
them is good but there is always a boundary as it is still important to have respect
to the teachers and staff in the organisation. During the observation or visit of
school that time especially that time that they are preparing for an event, I can
clearly tell that the teachers is not that hard to approach and bond with as they
are really good in handling and entertaining guests and other people outside their
school vicinity.
And lastly the student to student relationship in which it practices the connection
between what particular groups they belong with. With different cluster or special
programs of the school especially that this school is known have special talents
so the bonds and communication and have have is based on the groups they
belong with or to the people they interact with. Interconnectivity within the school
prior is also their culture in which students can easily communicate within each
other as the school also is just not that big and they have time to come together
especially in the times of performances and events. Overall in this school, they
practice good culture within them as it can also clearly see in them as they are
united for the improvement and what is the best in their school but there are just
some of them that have those lapses. For the improvement of the practices of the
schools culture it is important to follow such rules and procedures for the smooth
running of the school organization. Formulating things that can make the school
more likely to be known with other as this can help to gain impression for the
improvement and betterment of the school.
4. 2 School Visitation
City of Mati National High School or also known as the SPA Matiao

visitation, we observe that things and information’s posted in the bulletin board of
the school in which it has the organizational information’s and the organizational
charts of the school that it states there the information’s and data that happens
and works in the school data in the governance of the people behind the
organizational chart. The bulletin board have its organizational chart that shows
the teachers, staffs and people behind the school premises working base on its
assign responsibilities, roles or duties in school. Posted information for the
update of the organization for the use of purpose of updating and knowing the
respective responsibilities need to be meeting and work on.
Based on the organizational chart of the school that states the different
working responsibilities of the teachers, staffs and people behind the betterment
and working loads in the school to ensure its smooth and good management to
the school premises. It shows the responsibility and functions needed to be done
and perform by the respective coordinators and head for the management of the
school organization. With this, this serves as the reference guide of the school
that needed to be managing and maintain or control for the improvement of the
management and leadership of the leaders and heads of the different
organizations and different respective areas to be worked on. With such different
roles and responsibilities of each individual of an organization to ensure to meet
the needs of the school especially in the sake of the people being beneficial to
the organization.
In terms in the relationship of teachers with other colleagues, both of the
stakeholders put some professionalism behaviour or attitude between them.
They practice the actual attitude towards each other and have connection with
each other for them to understand things for the better future of the school
organization. Collaboration with the other colleagues are present within them as

comes with great respect and understanding from the teacher itself it will also the
follow to the students as they adapt the culture or norms in what environment
they are in.

Organizational chart in school stands as the roles, functions and


responsibilities of each individual in their post. Serves as guides to know where
and to whom they should report to whom they leader, coordinator or top tier
leader. In which this branching helps each one another to know to whom they will
communicate to seek help and support for the management of the school based
on their function or responsibility in the school management, it's either the
supervisor or the leader. School organizational chart also used for the decision
making plan for the annual or daily report of the school as with the different
respective positions they have there are also the responsibility to take a full
action on what to consider in their decision making for the improvement of the
school. Everyone in the organization despite of the different position they have,
they also have say and have the rights in decision making as they part of the
whole organization the voice and decision of everyone is consider for the
betterment of all the sectors in school. Relationship amongst students that
teaches the connection between the many groups that individuals belong to. As a
result of the school's various clusters or special programs and in particular
because this school is renowned for its special skills, relationships and
communication are centered on the groups they belong to or the people they
engage with. Because the school is not very big and students have time to gather
together, especially during performances and activities, there is a culture of
connectivity within the school where kids can easily communicate with each
other.

4.3 Functional Chart
The organizational chart of City Mati National High School states the
different positions and their corresponding functions and roles based on their
faculty education areas to keep the school organize and have different functions.
The organizational chart shows the branching of their positions in school with
their particular assigned works and roles in the school. On the top tier of the
organizational is the school head or also known as principal of the school in
which it takes responsibility in all of the activities and works for the organization
to run and function smoothly and efficiently.
School heads have that major role in school in which they are the one that
implement such that rules and policies, organizing internal works and data’s and
building or creating ways for improvement in school organization especially the
for the sake of the teachers, parents and students. On the bottom or the next in
higher position is the Guidance Advocate or the Coordinator of the school in
which they take full responsibility to the betterment and peaceful environment to
the students within the school premises. The right hand of the school head in
which they are also responsible for the decision of the implementation of
innovative ideas for solutions to the problems being identified in the school.
Branching the higher position of the school organization is the leaders or
advisory of each grade level corresponds with any other responsibilities in the
school. On top of the grade levels advisory is the chairperson in each grade level
and branching the different advisor in each section. With the different
organization in the school that works in school there are also coordinators or
head of that to perform its management to follow such steps and rules to
propagate and work on. There are also behind different subject teachers that are
there is no advisory and only focuses on the teachings of their perspective major.
And lastly the in charge in utility and guarding of the school for the cleaning,
organizing and giving safety to the environment of the school premises for the
sake of the teachers, staffs and students. Branching or connection on the
organizational chart makes sense as even the different responsibility and role of
every individual they only meet one goal and the needed to cooperate as a team
in an organization.
