Narrative
November is designated as Filipino Values Month as prescribed in R.A. 479
s.1994. Because of this, the Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (ESP) Department of VRNHS, held
a Filipino Values Month celebration as stipulated in the Regional Memorandum No. 710, s.
2022 dated November 10, 2022, and School Division Office Memorandum No. 1025 s. 2022
dated November 11, 2022.
The timeline of the celebration is shown below.
1. Infomercial (Grade 7)
2. Sabayang Pagbigkas (Grade 8)
3. Jingle Making Contest (Grade 9)
4. Short Film (Grade 10)
5. Bulletin Board/Photo Gallery (All Levels/AM/PM)
The culminating was held last Friday, December 9, 2022. The reason we held our
activity somewhat delayed is because the kind and generous teachers of the ESP Department
of VRNHS wholeheartedly gave way to another department whose celebration of their
subject is at the same time as ours. The program was spearhead by the ESP Subject
Coordinator, Mr. Noel D. Abuela, approved by our School Head, Ms. Irene L. Pantorillo,
inspired by our Education Program Supervisor, Ms. Edna A. Prudente and supported by the
teachers of ESP Department, the VRNHS faculty and our enthusiastic students of VRNHS.

Narrative
We, Filipinos are distinguished by our unique characteristics which are showcased in
many forms from optimism, as shown in our bright smiles, to the exceptional hospitality we
show to our visitors, guests and literally everyone who come to visit us. However, as the
digital world starts to creep into our society, many of us have or almost forgotten the
beautiful blend of values that make our own cultural heritage.
With this context in mind, we, the Grade 10 Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao teachers of
Veinte Reales National High School, came up with a short film-making competition for the
Grade 10 students as part of 2022 National Observance of the Filipino Values with the theme
“Magagandang Kaugaliang Filipino: Isabuhay at Pagyamanin Tungo sa Matiwasay at
Maunlad na Kinabukasan.”
Through this activity, we are hopeful that our students can develop a deep
appreciation of the values that our forefathers have passed on to us, and eventually, they can
start putting them into practice.
