ACTIVITIES FOR WEEK 1

 The whole team members for project meet to discuss topic

 The team is choose to work on project for design and simulate the aerodynamic

performance of ducted fan drone.

 The team came up with project brief for discussion with lecturer

 The team made the project brief which is include the main thing that will be doing

through the project

 Each team member of the project was allocated task for doing during the proposal and

report writing steps.

 My work is being the evaluation of different kind of ducted fan drones and their use

cases.

ACTIVITIES FOR WEEK 2

 I look into the advantages and disadvantages of ducted fan drones.

 For advantages, I found the drone with this kind of ducted fans is having quitter

operation, is can be more efficient, and the fans is protect from damage.

  I also but found for disadvantages, the ducted fan drone can be more weight, and can be

more complex design.

 The research showed that the advantage can be maximize to produce good ducted fan

drones.

ACTIVITIES FOR WEEK 3

 My research is into evaluate the way of maximizing efficiency of ducted fan drones.

 The efficiency of thrust can be enhance by having a duct that is allowing optimum

airflow around fan blades.

 The noise is can be reduce by making the duct surface smooth which is reducing the

turbulence.
